With NRLS, Aprima, eClinicalWorks and NextGen Healthcare can provide care teams with more complete patient medical histories and decrease the burden on administrative staff who currently respond to records requests manually.

NRLS currently provides access to nearly 230 million patients and more than four billion interactions between those patients and their care teams—20 times more coverage than any other record locator service on the market. It allows users to quickly and efficiently identify and share records within their existing EHR workflows to deliver more informed care. Through Surescripts’ unique network capabilities and access to high quality data, NRLS enables more sophisticated and valuable clinical information exchange.

Aprima joins NRLS as a Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) partner, expanding the interfaces available for NRLS and ultimately increasing the breadth of the Surescripts network.
