wellness

Dive Brief:

  • On Monday, TriCore Reference Laboratories announced it would be merging with Rhodes Group products and services, a clinical IT solutions company in Connecticut.
  • The new company will provide laboratory solutions in population health management, lab management, consulting, financial services and IT and software platforms.
  • Rhodes Group offers software solutions and large scale, front-to-back data integration that TriCore has utilized internally for more than 10 years.

Dive Insight:

The partnership will leverage TriCore’s current IT platform to provide better healthcare solutions for various stakeholders including health systems, providers, payers and patients. “The partnership is a great fit,” said Doug Wussow from Rhodes Group products and services. “In order for labs to make a profit today they must consider value based outcomes. Current market changes and regulations are imposing new ways of business and forcing laboratory financial sectors to change. Together we will provide new tool-sets and the necessary operational procedures that our clients and patients deserve.”
