Tuba City Regional Health Selects Allscripts

EDfx and the Delaware Health Information Network (DHIN) Partnership Begins

Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC) of Arizona has selected the Allscripts Sunrise and Allscripts Care Director solutions to provide an integrated electronic health record (EHR) and an integrated revenue cycle system for its 73-bed hospital and ambulatory clinics.

TCRHCC delivers health services to a 6,000 square mile area and acts as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The Sunrise solution will replace the organization’s disparate data systems to provide better visibility for patient care.

The investment also provides TCRHCC with a complete solution and integrated revenue cycle, certified for Meaningful Use Stage 2, which can enhance TCRHCC’s level of care to its patient population. The organization plans to use the web-based Allscripts Care DirectorTM solution to coordinate care across all settings to deliver quality outcomes. TCRHCC also selected Allscripts Managed IT Services to help ensure success during and after the implementation phase.

“Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation chose Allscripts Sunrise to improve the quality of data for our patients across all stages of care,” Lynette Bonar, CEO of Tuba City Regional Health Care, said. “By having a single platform with comprehensive data, our care providers will be able to access the information they need to serve our patients.”

Sunrise is an integrated suite of solutions for emergency, acute, post-acute, ambulatory and revenue cycle/patient administration. Used by many of the leading hospitals and health systems in the world, Sunrise is a highly configurable solution that offers clinician-specific workflows that help drive adoption of clinical decision support that can lead to improved outcomes.

“Tuba City Regional Health Care has taken a significant step in evolving its focus on patient care,” said Steve Holmquist, SVP of New Client Development. “By having an integrated single platform to manage care, the organization should see improvements in efficiencies and outcomes.”
