The Ambient Scribe tool, introduced last year, uses AI to passively capture patient–provider conversations and automatically produce structured clinical notes within the EHR. After using Veradigm Ambient Scribe for six months, Andrew Norris, MD, of Horizon Family Medicine, said the tool has noticeably improved both the quality and efficiency of his clinical documentation.
To support broader adoption, Veradigm is rolling out enhanced Ambient Scribe features to Veradigm EHR customers in phases starting November 18, with full availability expected within two weeks. This phased deployment ensures users receive the newest AI capabilities without extra system upgrades or lengthy setup processes.
