Headquartered in Annapolis, MD, Sidus’ robust, compliant offerings in Cloud Hosting, Managed Hosting and IT Regulatory Consulting services, provide a comprehensive solution for some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and health care companies globally who are required to comply with US, Canadian and European IT GMP regulations and HIPAA HITECH. The acquisition significantly accelerates BYTEGRID’s product roadmap by enhancing its managed services offering and providing it with a differentiated compliant hosting solution focused on the Life Sciences and health care sectors. Additionally, the Sidus acquisition adds sales, product and technical resources and adds three data centers to BYTEGRID’s national mission critical facilities portfolio.

Overall, BYTEGRID now delivers services from nine data centers in six geographically dispersed markets encompassing more than 750,000 square feet of premier multi-tenant colocation data center space meeting the highest standards for security and reliability serving some of the world’s largest companies and government agencies, including numerous Fortune 50 companies.
The combination of the BYTEGRID/Sidus product offering will be particularly attractive in several markets such as Maryland, where BYTEGRID’s highly redundant 9 megawatt 214,000 sq. ft. data center located in Silver Spring will be teamed with Sidus’ hosting products and technical expertise and will serve the community’s expanding Biotech, Life Sciences, and Federal Government users. To protect its customers’ mission-critical applications and data,BYTEGRID’s Silver Spring Tier IV data center infrastructure and ultra-high security meets NIST, FISMA and GSA Interagency Security Committee standards and network grid connectivity criteria.
