Advancing Medication Management with the Pursuit to Perfection – Fort Healthcare

With the ever changing landscape of health care, Fort recognized the opportunity to review medication management practices to improve medication dispensing and its corresponding workflow processes. Fort will discuss how Cerner’s RxStation helped the organization with improved productivity, a key component in optimizing patient and staff satisfaction. Fort also found the potential to see an impact on the cost of care delivery and the improvement of patient outcomes by engaging staff, adopting new strategies and following best practices.
Saving Time, Money, and Uniting Competitors with HIE Technology – Inspira Health Network

Using Cerner’s Health Information Exchange technology, Inspira Health Network nurses can refer patients to skilled nursing facilities much more quickly, saving clinicians time and patients thousands of dollars. Inspira cut length of stay by half a day, which equates to an average savings of $1,200 per patient.
