Dell signs $100 mn deal with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island

Dell

Dell announced it has signed $100 million deals with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island and the Dubai Health Authority.

The PC giant said it will work with BCBSRI to improve operations and implement new technologies to boost customer growth and improve overall satisfaction while also lowering costs.

Overseas, Dell Services’ Business Process-as-a-Service will enable Dubai Health Authority to offer a full health insurance reimbursement program designed to work with the DHA’s new EHR system.

The services include healthcare consulting services, program management, revenue cycle management, software and revenue cycle management services.

The RCM portion will cover coding, claims preparation and submission, denials and rejections management, refunds and audit management and patient follow ups among other services.

Dell said each deal was worth about $100 million and the announcement came as Dell also revealed it is selling its IT services operation to NTT Data for $3 billion.
