North Country Community Mental Health provides services to all residents of Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet, Kalkaska, and Otsego Counties experiencing an emotional problem, mental illness or developmental disability. North Country Community Mental Health received its fourth three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) in November 2016. Accredited programs include: Assertive Community Treatment, Case Management/Supports Coordination, Community Integration, Crisis Intervention, Crisis Stabilization, and Outpatient Treatment. The CARF survey team found numerous areas of strength within the organization, as well as recommendations for continuous quality improvement.
