RUG Tools, LLC provides software to long-term care facilities and the consultants and software companies who work on behalf of such facilities.Client facilities use our software to  increase their PPS reimbursement, increase the case mix index used to set their Medicaid per diem rates in case mix states, prepare for Medicaid MDS documentation reviews in those states with reviews, improve accuracy of assessments, especially when assessment answers result in QI flags, and train MDS coordinators and other staff members on the Medicare PPS Grouper and the various groupers used in different state Medicaid programs.
