In an effort to ease the transition to ICD-10 in the coming year, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is offering new tools to help industry providers.

ICD-10: Less Than One Year Out
CMS is encouraging the health care industry to take advantage of the numerous resources for checking progress and any actions that may be needed because the October 1, 2014 is quickly approaching. To help support providers and other health care organizations, CMS is offering new resources and a webinar on ICD-10 readiness during November.
ICD-10 eHealth Provider Webinar
On Tuesday, November 19, at 12:00 noon, ET, CMS is hosting a webinar to discuss the ICD-10 transition and how providers can prepare. This webinar will feature resources, steps to take to get ready, and information about ICD-10 and the implementation process.
