New Hyde Park, NY (June 8, 2020) – PM Pediatrics, the nation’s largest provider of pediatric urgent care, has seen its PMP Anywhere Telemedicine Program grow from fewer than 100 to more than 72,000 registered parents in the first five months of 2020 during the Coronavirus Pandemic. PM Pediatrics is headquartered in New Hyde Park, NY. The PMP Anywhere Telemedicine Program was launched in January as a pilot program in the Anchorage, AK school district, and had been planned to gradually expand over the course of the year.
“With the onset of the pandemic and the ensuing stay-at-home mandates, we saw the need to accelerate the rollout and quickly made it is available in all 13 states where we have nearby offices,” said Dr. Jeffrey Schor, co-CEO of PM Pediatrics. “We now can offer telemedicine to our patients as a way to connect to expert healthcare anywhere one of our more than 55 offices is located, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Washington DC, Texas, and California.”
Registered parents and daily visits have ballooned from a few hundred to more than 1,000 and have more than doubled every month from March to May.
